The ISRI2024 Convention & Exposition, the world’s premier event for the recycled materials industry, is set to take place in Las Vegas. Registration is now open for the event, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and is expected to attract over 6,000 industry professionals. The four-day convention offers attendees the opportunity to enhance their skills, gain valuable insights, network, expand their businesses, and celebrate the industry’s achievements.

The convention includes a variety of benefits for attendees, including the chance to discover new equipment and services, learn from leading authorities through a diverse set of speakers, connect with other ISRI members through special networking opportunities, and save money by registering early.

The ISRI2024 Convention & Exposition will be held at the Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort, located at 3950 S Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada. For those requiring mobility assistance, scooters can be rented at the resort’s concierge desk.

ISRI Governance Meetings are scheduled for ISRI members from April 13 to April 15. The main event, open to all registrants, runs from April 15 to April 18. Registration and badge pick-up will be available in the Mandalay Bay Ballroom Foyer, Level 2, during the following times (all in Pacific Time Zone):

– Saturday, April 13: 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
– Sunday, April 14: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
– Monday, April 15: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
– Tuesday, April 16: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
– Wednesday, April 17: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
– Thursday, April 18: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The Exhibit Hall at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center will be open:

– Monday, April 15: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Opening Reception for All Access Registrations only)
– Tuesday, April 16: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch served in the Exhibit Hall)
– Wednesday, April 17: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Educational sessions will occur from Tuesday morning through Thursday afternoon.

Payments, Confirmations, Substitutions, and Cancellations:

Non-member companies eligible for ISRI membership can join by contacting membership@isri.org, allowing all employees to receive the member rate and other benefits. Unfortunately, group discounts are not offered.

To pay by check, register online up to the payment step, then mail a check payable to ISRI, with registrant details, to: ISRI2024 Convention and Exposition, PO Box 75245, Baltimore, MD 21275-5245. Checks are not accepted onsite. For wire transfers, complete the online registration and then wire funds with fees prepaid. If you haven’t received a registration confirmation or receipt, check your spam filters and ask your IT to whitelist ISRI.org and Expotracker.net. For a duplicate receipt or further assistance, contact Convention@isri.org with your details.

To attend Governance meetings only, reach out to the meetings department at convention@isri.org or call (202) 662-8555. Cancellations before 11:59 p.m. Eastern US Time on March 11, 2024, will be refunded minus a $50 fee for registrations under $500 or a $100 fee for those $500 or more. To cancel, email Convention@isri.org before May 3, 2024.

To attend Board of Directors and committee meetings, register by contacting the meetings department at Convention@isri.org or calling (202) 662-8555. Cancellations before 11:59 p.m. Eastern US Time on March 11, 2024, will incur a $50 fee for fees under $500 or a $100 fee for fees $500 and above. After this date, a 50% refund is available. For registration substitutions, email the necessary details to Convention@isri.org. Onsite substitutions are possible but may take extra time. Lost badges can be replaced at the convention registration desk for the applicable registration rate. Children aged 2-16 require full conference registration to access the convention. Those not registered can only visit the Exhibit Hall after 2 p.m. each day and must be with a registered adult at all times. Strollers are not allowed in exhibit areas. Education Session Tracks Overview:

The education session tracks are designed to group sessions by topic or content focus for the convenience of attendees. These tracks cater to various audiences, from public affairs to executive teams, covering a wide range of issues pertinent to the recycled materials industry. It’s important to note that the session tracks are subject to change.

1. Advocacy & Public Relations:
Targeted at public affairs, advocacy, and communications professionals, this track emphasizes the importance of government relations and strategic information dissemination. It aims to equip participants with the skills to influence public policy, maintain a robust reputation, and engage effectively with stakeholders in their companies and communities.

2. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS):
This track is tailored for EHS, operations, and maintenance personnel. It addresses the critical need to safeguard the well-being of employees, customers, visitors, contractors, drivers, and local residents in facilities dealing with recycled materials.

3. EVs and Batteries:
Open to all attendees, this track delves into the growing significance of electric vehicles (EVs) and battery recycling. It covers safety protocols, proper handling, policy, regulation, legislation, and future prospects within this rapidly evolving sector.

4. Executive Management & Leadership:

5. Markets & Trade:
Marketing, sales, and trade professionals will find this track particularly relevant. It encompasses the entire spectrum of commodities emerging from recycled materials facilities, including ferrous and nonferrous metals, stainless steel, alloys, plastics, recovered fiber, tires, rubber, electronics, glass, and textiles. This track is designed for EHS, operations, and maintenance teams. Schedule:

The ISRI2024 Convention & Exposition presents a comprehensive schedule, starting on Saturday, April 13, with registration available from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. for exhibitors and all-access badge holders. The day concludes with the ISRI Board of Directors meeting from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The following day, Sunday, April 14, extends registration hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., coupled with ISRI Governance Meetings throughout the day from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

As the week progresses, Monday, April 15, offers continued registration for the same badge types from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The morning and early afternoon are reserved for ISRI Governance Meetings until 1:30 p.m., followed by the ISRI Board of Directors meeting until 3:30 p.m. The evening welcomes new ISRI members and first-time convention attendees from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., leading into the Opening Exhibit Hall Reception, which runs from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 16, kicks off with the ISRI Fun Run at 6:15 a.m. and opens registration for all badge types at 7:00 a.m. The day is filled with networking and educational opportunities, starting with breakfast at 7:15 a.m. and the Opening General Session featuring awards and a guest speaker at 8:30 a.m. The Exhibit Hall opens at 9:00 a.m., followed by educational sessions throughout the day, a networking lunch with exhibitors at 12:30 p.m., and receptions in the evening, including the ISRI Women in Recycling Networking Reception at 5:30 p.m. and the ISRI Young Executives Council Networking Reception at 7:30 p.m. The day concludes with the ISRI After Hours Party from 9:00 to 11:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 17, begins with morning fitness at 7:00 a.m. and breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Educational sessions commence at 8:45 a.m., with the Exhibit Hall open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Community engagement activities take place from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., alongside a networking lunch with exhibitors at 12:30 p.m. Educational sessions continue in the afternoon, and the day ends with the exclusive ISRI and BIR International Reception from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

The final day, Thursday, April 18, opens registration from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and starts with morning fitness at 8:00 a.m. Educational sessions are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., followed by the Closing General Session with awards and a featured guest at 11:00 a.m. Lunch is available at 12:45 p.m. in the ISRI Café, with the last round of educational sessions at 2:00 p.m. The convention concludes with the ISRI Board of Directors Closing Meeting from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. and the Closing Night Celebration from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

International Attendees:

International attendees planning to visit the United States for the ISRI2024 Convention & Exposition may require a visa, depending on their nationality. To initiate the visa application process, attendees must first complete the purchase of a convention registration. Following payment, a confirmation will be sent to the email address provided on the registration form. In the event that an attendee is unable to secure a visa appointment or obtain visa approval, a full refund of the convention registration fee will be issued.

Letters of invitation, which can assist in the visa application process, are available upon request but only after full payment for the convention registration has been made. During registration, there will be an option to request a visa letter of invitation. Attendees should be ready to supply personal details such as their full name as it appears on their passport, nationality, passport number, issue and expiration dates, date of birth, gender, and mailing address.

Discounted airfares are available for ISRI Convention & Exhibition attendees through three major airlines. For those attending the ISRI2024 Convention & Exposition, ISRI has arranged for exclusive discounted room rates at three official convention hotels. These rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability until the specified deadline or until sold out. The participating hotels and their nightly rates are as follows:

1. Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, located at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, offers rates between $205-$225 plus taxes and local fees.

2. Delano Las Vegas, situated at 3940 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, has room rates ranging from $225-$246, excluding taxes and local fees.

3. Luxor Las Vegas, found at 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, provides accommodations from $49-$199 per night, not including taxes and local fees.

The ALL ACCESS ticket includes admission to the Opening Exhibit Hall Reception, over 325 exhibits, the Opening General Session and Awards Presentation, Commodity Spotlights, more than 30 Educational Sessions, a Live Demonstration, the After Hours Party, Breakfast in the ISRI Cafe, the Closing General Session, Networking Lunches in the Exhibit Hall, and the Closing Night Celebration. The EXHIBITS ONLY ticket grants admission to the exhibits and networking lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday only.
