1. Advocacy & Public Relations

Audience: Public Affairs, Advocacy and Communications Team Members

This track is focused on those responsible for government relations and those who manage and disseminate information with a goal to influence public policy, build and maintain a strong reputation and find common ground with stakeholders within their companies and communities.
2. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

Audience: EHS, Operations and Maintenance Team Members

This track focuses on issues related to protecting the health and life of recycled materials facility employees, customers, visitors, contractors, drivers and the surrounding community.
3. EVs and Batteries

Audience: All

This track focuses on issues regarding the expanding role of EVs and battery recycling including safety and proper handling, policy, regulation, legislation and the outlook for the future.
4. Executive Management & Leadership

Audience: Executive Team, HR and Finance Team Members

This track focuses on issues for the management team which may include DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility), change management, conflict resolution, problem solving and leading innovation.
5. Markets & Trade

Audience: Marketing, Sales and Trade Team Members

This track focuses on all commodities and is for those responsible for the buying and selling of products that come out of a recycled materials facility. i.e.- ferrous metals (iron, steel); nonferrous metals (aluminum, copper, lead, zinc, tin and precious metals); stainless steel and high-temperature alloys; plastics; recovered fiber (paper, corrugated, cartons); tires/rubber; electronics; glass; textiles.
6. Operations

Audience: EHS, Operations and Maintenance Team Members

This track focuses on day-to-day activities and processes of the facility including business planning and finance; competitive and diversification strategies; growth, profits and productivity; legal issues; securing and extending credit; insurance and customer service, and transportation.
7. Sustainability

Audience: All

This track focuses on society’s ability to exist and develop without depleting all the natural resources needed to live in the future. As a recycled materials industry professional and therefore a leader in sustainability (environmental, social, governance), learn how to position yourself accordingly and how to operate responsibly within your community.
